Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively as part of a team
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Communicate customer concerns effectively to the service department
• Work with other technicians to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles
• Physical ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Dexterity to use hand tools and ability to work in tight spaces or above head level
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Certifications or a documented plan to achieve them
• Aptitude for learning additional technical skills and processes
