Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Examine vehicles and diagnose necessary repairs
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain required components
• Document all work performed clearly and accurately
• Road-test vehicles as required or refer to a test technician
• Maintain high safety and quality standards
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of previous BMW Automotive Technician experience
• Proven BMW service experience is required
• Possession of a personal set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manual dexterity for technical tasks
