About the role
Responsibilities
- Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched
- Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
- Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
- Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation
- Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for tools
- Communicating with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
- Participating in BMW proprietary training and education programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment
- Ability to pass background check and MVR check
- Authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous European automotive technician experience
- ASE certifications
