Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance for customer and dealership vehicles
• Conducts full inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Performs quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed
• Ensures required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations
• Maintains shop appearance, safety standards, and inventory stocking
• Communicates effectively with Service Advisor and Parts department personnel
• Participates in company and Ford Certification training and education

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer and internet skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience
• Ford certifications or experience
