About the role
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance for customer and dealership vehicles
- Conducts full inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
- Performs quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed
- Ensures required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations
- Maintains shop appearance, safety standards, and inventory stocking
- Communicates effectively with Service Advisor and Parts department personnel
- Participates in company and Ford Certification training and education
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer and internet skills
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience
- Ford certifications or experience
