Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles
• Carry out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Provide diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
• Perform high quality repairs on engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
• Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are complete
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Communicate efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department
• Participate in BMW proprietary training and education programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to pass background check and MVR check
• Authorized to work in the USA

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous European automotive technician experience
• ASE certifications
