About the role
Responsibilities
- Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched
- Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
- Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
- Performing high quality and efficient repair services for engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation
- Maintaining organized, clean workspace and tools
- Communicating with Service Advisors and Parts Department
- Participating in BMW proprietary training and education programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check, MVR check, drug test, and credit report
- Authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous European automotive technician experience
- ASE certifications
- BMW Certification Levels 1, 2, 3 or 4
- BMW/MINI factory training and experience
- Experience in an independent shop
