About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles
- Execute repair orders as dispatched
- Provide diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
- Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
- Perform high quality repairs on engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are complete
- Maintain organized workspace and account for tools
- Communicate with Service Advisors and Parts Department
- Participate in BMW proprietary training programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to pass background check and MVR check
- Authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous European automotive technician experience
- ASE certifications
