About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance for customer and dealership vehicles
- Execute repair orders as dispatched and provide labor, time, and parts estimates
- Troubleshoot and repair automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all repairs are completed to factory standards
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace and manage dealership and personal tools
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department
- Participate in BMW proprietary training programs to develop expertise in industry-leading technologies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with European automotive brands
- ASE certifications
