Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to accurately determine repair needs
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs
• Execute high-quality, efficient repairs on engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs meet BMW standards
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and personal tools
• Communicate with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees
• Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and MVR check
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous European automotive technician experience
• ASE certifications
