Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
• Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation
• Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for tools
• Communicating with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
• Participating in BMW proprietary training and education programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment
• Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and pre-employment testing
• Authorized to work in the USA

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous European automotive technician experience
• ASE certifications
