Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles
• Execute repair orders as dispatched and provide accurate labor, time, and parts estimates
• Conduct diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine specific repair needs
• Perform high-quality repairs on various automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all repairs are completed to factory standards
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace and manage dealership and personal tools
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees
• Participate in ongoing BMW proprietary training to develop expertise in industry-leading technologies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience in a hands-on environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background and MVR checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a technician for European automotive brands
• ASE certifications
