About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched
- Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to accurately determine repair needs
- Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs
- Execute high-quality repairs on engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning following BMW standards
- Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs meet the highest standards
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage personal and dealership tools
- Communicate efficiently with Service Advisors and the Parts Department
- Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training to stay updated on industry-leading technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background and MVR checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with European automotive brands
- ASE certifications
