About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor diagnostics and repairs on automobiles according to manufacturer specifications
  • Repair systems including brakes, suspension, exhaust, drive train, cooling, tires, alignments, A/C, and fuel systems
  • Utilize software to determine necessary parts and labor requirements
  • Conduct state safety inspections as required
  • Communicate repair status and needs to the service manager or service writer
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Assist Lead Technicians to gain experience for future ASE Certifications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid State Inspection License
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light/medium-duty trucks (automatic and manual)
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 lbs
