About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform minor diagnostics and repairs on automobiles according to manufacturer specifications
- Repair systems including brakes, suspension, exhaust, drive train, cooling, tires, alignments, A/C, and fuel systems
- Utilize software to determine necessary parts and labor requirements
- Conduct state safety inspections as required
- Communicate repair status and needs to the service manager or service writer
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist Lead Technicians to gain experience for future ASE Certifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Inspection License
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light/medium-duty trucks (automatic and manual)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 lbs
