Automotive Technical Diagnostics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for repair requests and technical questions from technicians
• Provide technical support and remote guidance based on diagnostic best practices and OEM procedures
• Communicate directly with technicians in the local language to clarify reports, symptoms, and DTCs
• Perform initial triage, document cases, and determine escalation criteria
• Escalate unresolved or complex cases to Level 2 with complete documentation
• Support repairs related to OTA updates and basic software troubleshooting
• Record case notes, solutions, and knowledge base content to improve first-fix rates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share recurring issues and trends

Requirements

• Experience in automotive diagnostics, technical support, workshop, or field service
• Proven ability to resolve complex electrical and electronic faults
• Practical experience using OEM diagnostic tools
• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Experience collaborating with workshops, engineering, or technical teams
• Ability to provide guidance and support to technicians
• Fluency in Polish and professional English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in field-based or multi-site support
• Multi-brand exposure
• Background in OEM or importer technical support
• Knowledge of German language
• Knowledge of modern vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, body electronics)
• Knowledge of communication networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and guided diagnostics
