Automotive Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop operations, including office and shop personnel
• Drive sales activities and ensure target profit margins are achieved
• Serve as the primary communication interface for customers, providing transparency and hospitality
• Develop customer estimates and work orders, and assign tasks to technicians
• Oversee daily accounting, including closing, balancing, and monthly reconciliations
• Ensure all equipment is operational and technicians have necessary resources
• Maintain high standards of quality, attitude, and performance to meet customer satisfaction goals

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in automotive customer service and service sales
• Proven supervisory or management experience within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and automotive store applications
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift objects over 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience
• Experience using TekMetric software
• Graduation from an industry-recognized service training program
