Automotive Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair matters
• Serve as the liaison between customers, managers, and technicians
• Listen to and understand customer problems to arrange appropriate service and repairs
• Manage customer and technician expectations regarding service delivery
• Communicate necessary repairs and recommended maintenance to customers
• Ensure vehicles are repaired correctly and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain composure under stress

Preferred Qualifications

• CDJR service advisor experience
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience
• Experience with CDK and/or X-Time
