Automotive Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair matters
• Act as a liaison between customers, managers, and technicians to ensure clear communication
• Listen to and thoroughly understand customer concerns to arrange appropriate repairs
• Manage customer expectations regarding service delivery and repair timelines
• Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicle safety and longevity
• Ensure customers are satisfied that vehicles are repaired correctly and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience
• Experience with import brands
• Broad knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience using CDK and/or X-Time
