About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical repairs including engine performance, drivability, and electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering, suspension, and heating/air conditioning systems
- Complete 4-wheel alignments and ensure vehicles meet quality standards
- Consult with customers on repair needs and explain services performed
- Review and close repair orders accurately, including labor, parts, and billing
- Manage parts inventory and maintain proper stocking levels
- Follow Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements
Requirements
- Completion of New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training
- ASE Certifications in relevant areas (Steering/Suspension, Brakes, HVAC, Electrical, etc.) as required by law
- Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
