About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the automotive product security framework aligned to ISO 21434 and ASPICE
  • Establish practical processes, templates, and minimum control expectations for cybersecurity activities
  • Act as the product security lead across R&D fleet, robotaxi, and customer software programmes
  • Define expectations and provide independent review for automotive cybersecurity cases
  • Establish mechanisms for product cybersecurity risk visibility, challenge, and escalation
  • Translate regulatory and customer expectations into practical internal requirements
  • Advise and upskill engineering teams on TARA, secure architecture, and security testing
  • Develop metrics to demonstrate product security maturity and assurance readiness

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior product security, automotive cybersecurity, or embedded systems security
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 21434 and UNECE R155
  • Experience with cybersecurity lifecycle activities including TARA and residual risk treatment
  • Technical judgement in software security, threat modelling, and risk assessment
  • Experience reviewing cybersecurity cases or technical evidence packs
  • Ability to partner with product, engineering, safety, and legal teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling product security capabilities in growing organisations
  • Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, or ISO 21448 / SOTIF
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or OTA update systems
  • Experience with supplier assurance and third-party cybersecurity risk
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or GICSP
