About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all project component related tasks and activities from development through end-of-production.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams, including purchasing, production, and design engineers, to achieve project goals.
  • Manage international teams to ensure automotive project requirements are implemented on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Act as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager, handling risk management and technical decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customers and OEMs to understand needs and prioritize requirements.
  • Evaluate customer specifications and translate them into technical requirements, test coverage, and issue tracking.
  • Plan and track project progress, including cost estimation, budget control, and sample build/delivery.
  • Ensure all project documentation meets internal and customer quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Engineering or a related technical field (Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Systems).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical project management within the automotive industry.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading project teams.
  • Proven experience with vehicle and system testing and release procedures.
  • Advanced English fluency (written and verbal) for negotiating with global teams and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with end customers in the USA, Europe, or Asia.
  • Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of Bosch APQP processes.
