Responsibilities
- Perform skilled repairs on automobiles, pick-up trucks, and various grounds maintenance equipment
- Diagnose and repair computer-equipped vehicles
- Instruct other workers in the mechanical repair of City-owned equipment
Requirements
- Associate degree in Automotives or a related field AND 2 years of progressively responsible automotive experience, OR High School Diploma/GED AND 3 years of experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain an Ohio Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) within 90 days of appointment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 150 days of appointment
