Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, examine, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on various automotive equipment
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and hydraulic/hydrostatic system maintenance
• Conduct DOT inspections and perform brake and steering adjustments
• Execute windshield replacement, body repair, and panel replacement
• Maintain and repair pipe/steam systems, including valves, radiators, and pressure systems
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company ethical standards while working in proximity to chemical demilitarization facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship (required to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and HWAD site access
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with air brake systems, diesel engines, and DOT standards
• Ability to operate hand, air, and diagnostic tools (e.g., scan tools)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing and repairing Class 8 semi-trucks or heavy-duty diesel engines
• Welding experience
