Automotive General Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead operations including scheduling, workflow, and quality control
• Drive sales and revenue through lead follow-up, customer conversions, and local partnerships
• Deliver results tied to monthly sales targets, ARO, gross profit, and retention metrics
• Provide hands-on customer support, service writing, and relationship building
• Coach and mentor team members through real-time collaboration
• Manage customer concerns and complaints on Yelp and Google Reviews
• Maintain accurate operational, financial, and employee records
• Prepare performance reports and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager in an auto mechanic shop
• Proficiency in Digital Visual Inspections and Procedures
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Sound knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
• Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in tight spaces
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Autoflow or similar platforms
