Automotive Flying Doctor Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole in-country technical interface with the regional SSDS team
• Execute field and remote missions to support dealerships and authorized repairers
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents including electrical and multiplexing faults
• Use OEM diagnostic tools for software updates, reprogramming, and parameterization
• Interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins to identify root causes
• Produce technical reports, incident summaries, and action plans for stakeholders
• Coordinate and coach multidisciplinary teams at the point of repair
• Manage tools, equipment, and logistics for missions

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in vehicle repair and diagnosis within the automotive sector
• Experience with OEM/importer or dealer networks
• Proven track record resolving complex electrical/electronic faults using OEM diagnostic platforms
• Strong understanding of modern automotive systems (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, body electronics, CAN/LIN/FlexRay)
• Proficiency with diagnostic methodologies like fault tree and root-cause analysis
• Competence in ECU programming, coding, and configuration
• Advanced use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and measurement equipment
• Strong technical writing skills for incident summaries and repair instructions
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple sites
