Automotive Express/Lube Technician

Responsibilities

• Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
• Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation
• Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for tools
• Communicating efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department
• Participating in BMW proprietary training and education programs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Strong Mechanical & Electrical diagnostic aptitude
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Must have own basic automotive tool set
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug, background, and motor vehicle reports

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as an Experienced Line Technician
• Experience with luxury OEM or BMW brands
• Automotive Technical training or Trade School degree
• ASE Certifications
