Automotive Designer Sr

Responsibilities

• Lead interior and exterior design activities with minimal supervision
• Perform structural performance evaluations using Altair SimSolid
• Review and validate results from junior designers to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Contribute ideas during design reviews to ensure quality from the start
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding manufacturability and cost optimization
• Participate in presentations with design managers and design launch engineers
• Actively participate in vehicle compartment integration team reviews

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive design
• Proficiency in Siemens NX, TEAMCENTER, SIMSOLID, and CAE
• Solid knowledge of plastic design and electrical components
• Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
