Automotive Audio Tuning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support customer automotive products, like Copilot and E-call, audio objective and subjective performance tuning and certification
• Trouble shooting and fix customer audio tuning issues
• Co-work with other teams on audio issues debugging, performance improvement and audio use case customization
• Collect AUTO customer feedback and design trend
• Work with internal team on Qualcomm audio algorithms evolution
• Provide customer training in QC audio algorithms and tuning skills

Requirements

• 1-3 years automotive audio design, tuning and testing experience
• Familiarity with audio signal processing theory and algorithms (EC, NS, Audio Beamforming, Voice UI)
• Familiarity with audio test systems and equipment (Head Acoustics ACQUA, callbox CMW500)
• Familiarity with automotive audio standards (ITU-T, Gost, AECS)
• Knowledge of audio components, acoustic design, and audio sub-systems
• Proficiency in Python programming preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Bachelor or MS degree in Signal Processing, Acoustics, Electronic Engineering, or related field
