Automotive Apprentice Technician

Responsibilities

• Review repair and maintenance needs for vehicles in the reconditioning facility
• Coordinate minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks with the mechanic team
• Track repair schedules, updates, and documentation in internal systems
• Communicate with management and team members regarding repair status
• Support high-volume workflow in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain organized records of repair and maintenance activities
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies between repair estimates, progress, and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years as an apprentice automotive technician
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license (minimum G2)
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to commute to Mississauga
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school or automotive program background
• Previous administrative or automotive support experience
• Familiarity with automotive repair terminology or shop operations
• Experience using scheduling, workflow, or task management tools
