About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform standardized vehicle inspections, including stationary checks and road tests
- Diagnose and assess mechanical and safety issues
- Provide recommendations on repairs and preventative maintenance
- Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs such as brake jobs, suspension work, and fluid changes
- Document all repairs and inspection findings in Clutch systems
- Communicate vehicle status and workflow changes to reconditioning staff and management
Requirements
- 3+ years of automotive technician experience
- Experience with domestic, import, and European vehicle brands
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to work a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule including overtime
- Proficiency with technology like Google Drive and Slack
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal automotive technician training or relevant certifications
- Experience with advanced diagnostic or scan tools
- Previous apprenticeship experience in a reconditioning or dealership environment
