Automotive AI Software Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support Qualcomm customers in the Automotive segment using Snapdragon chipsets
• Provide end-to-end support for AI model deployment and optimization on QC SoC AI accelerator engines
• Communicate closely with customers and internal engineering teams to understand requirements and system design
• Coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage technical tasks effectively
• Debug and solve complex problems related to embedded software and AI model architectures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python
• Strong knowledge of Embedded OS (Kernel architecture, memory management, multi-threading, and crash debugging)
• Understanding of AI model architectures and deep learning frameworks (e.g., ONNX, PyTorch)
• Native or professional fluency in Japanese for customer communication
• Professional fluency in English for global team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AD/ADAS AI stack development
• Hands-on experience with device driver development for embedded operating systems (Linux, Android, or Windows)
• Understanding of system-level features, processor management, and power management
