Automotive Aftermarket Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a globally diverse team of product developers and engineers within the Automotive Aftermarket Division.
• Develop R&D strategies, technology roadmaps, and NPI pipelines aligned with business growth objectives.
• Drive complex cross-functional programs including new product creation, customer applications, and product line extensions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the R&D team to foster professional development.
• Leverage customer insights to create products that exceed market expectations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sales to ensure seamless product integration and commercial success.
• Champion IP strategies to protect company products and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience with new product commercialization projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline.
• Experience with AOEM (Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer) requirements.
• Expertise in new product development, commercialization, and spec-in processes.
• Proven track record of contributing to organizational growth through significant initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and maintain technical networks.
• Collaborative interpersonal style with experience leading teams.
