Automobile Storekeeper

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize inventory of automotive spare parts, components, tools, consumables, and workshop materials
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery documents
• Maintain accurate stock records, inventory systems, and documentation
• Issue parts and materials to technicians and workshop teams based on approved requests
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or delays
• Identify, label, and store parts properly to maintain quality and accessibility
• Maintain records of rare, vintage, and classic vehicle parts with proper tracking
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of parts
• Follow health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the storage area

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Storekeeper, Parts Coordinator, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, tools, and workshop equipment
• Experience using inventory management systems or ERP software
• Ability to read parts catalogs, invoices, and technical documents
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Good communication skills to coordinate with technicians and suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with luxury vehicles, classic cars, or restoration workshops
• Familiarity with premium automotive brands
