Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for white-box testing of software applications
• Execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines to validate functionality, performance, and stability
• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support defect tracking and resolution activities
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve overall application quality
• Contribute to the enhancement of testing frameworks, automation processes, and QA practices
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience as an Automation Tester, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET
• Strong expertise in Test Automation Frameworks, White Box Testing, and the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
• Experience with API Testing, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and attention to detail
