Automation Tester - Junior

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality
• Analyze requirements, technical documentation, and system architecture to design comprehensive test plans
• Execute tests in various environments to validate functionality, stability, and system behavior
• Develop automation code following quality, maintainability, and robustness standards
• Perform detailed analysis and debugging when failures are detected
• Refactor and improve scripts, libraries, and test cases for efficient operation
• Validate software fixes through targeted and regression testing
• Manage versions and dependencies of the testing framework using version control systems
• Document results, evidence, and test reports using collaborative tools
• Collaborate with development, validation, architecture, and product management teams

Requirements

• Degree in Automotive Systems, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Knowledge of Python for script development and automation
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest
• Knowledge of data structures, debugging, and programming best practices
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of Jira for task, incident, and planning tracking
• Fundamentals of software verification and validation
• Basic knowledge of functional testing, regression, and fix validation
• Ability to work with technical documentation and translate requirements into test cases
• Advanced English proficiency
