Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute all testing activities to improve product quality and work closely with developers, business analysts, and operations teams.
• Automate functional, regression, and performance acceptance tests.
• Take complete responsibility for enhancing end-to-end automated test coverage.
• Address test automation needs using methodical, detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with the Scrum team to analyze requirements and provide test recommendations.

Requirements

• 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Deep domain knowledge of API, UI, web, and mobile application automation.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, or Nightwatch.
• Experience using tools like Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, soapUI, or cURL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the software testing process (requirement analysis, test strategy, and various testing techniques).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Apache Airflow, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience using AI chat tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for research and debugging.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
