About the role
Responsibilities
- Program, maintain, and retain computer programs for all robots, press transfers, press feed controls, and weld controls.
- Manage the programming and maintenance of new and existing robot and automated PLC process equipment.
- Assist maintenance and manufacturing teams in supervising and implementing maintenance programs and records.
- Update and maintain electrical schematics to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
- Community college degree in robotics or engineering technology, or 5 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience with PLC and SLC programming.
- Strong technical knowledge of KUKA and Allen-Bradley systems.
- Deep understanding of SLC 100, 150, 500, and PLC2.
- Knowledge of 5-S principles and weld controls.
- Experience with Robitron or Medar.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
