Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and intervene on PLCs, drives, sensors, and actuators to restore production
• Program, modify, and optimize automated systems
• Perform tests, commissioning, and functional validations after interventions
• Participate in the commissioning of new machines or automated lines
• Establish and update technical documentation including electrical diagrams and operating procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime
• Collaborate with production, mechanical maintenance, and quality teams
• Respect and apply site hygiene, safety, and environmental rules
• Occasional on-call duty according to site organization

Requirements

• BAC pro / BTS or equivalent in automation, electrotechnics, electromechanics, or industrial maintenance
• Significant experience in a similar role within an industrial environment
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Ladder, FBD, Structured Text)
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and teamwork
• Driver's license preferred
• Electrical certifications (B1/B2, BR) preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS (GMAO) tools
