About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and service internally designed electromechanical equipment through assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Use hand tools and inspection equipment to assemble stand-alone systems and subassemblies following written instructions
  • Assist with the commissioning of newly manufactured automated systems, including teardown and reassembly at customer facilities
  • Perform hydraulic and pneumatic plumbing, as well as cable and wire routing/soldering
  • Operate and program industrial robotics and use computer applications to calibrate and debug instruments
  • Support engineers by building prototype systems and fixtures
  • Maintain accurate manufacturing records in compliance with cGMP and relevant safety/regulatory bodies (OSHA, ISO, FDA)
  • Participate in process and product improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost reduction

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Technology, or Electronics with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR a High School Degree with 6+ years of technical experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an FDA/cGMP/CAP/CLIA regulated production environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, TPM, KAIZEN, or PDCA
  • Familiarity with PLCs and ladder logic
  • Experience controlling, programming, and troubleshooting industrial robotics
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software
