About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal working conditions and reliability
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving conveyors, pallet handling systems, and other manufacturing machinery
- Support site reliability initiatives by identifying failure modes and improving equipment performance
- Execute maintenance tasks and maintain accurate documentation within the CMMS
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment in compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical components including motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, and field sensors
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office
- Knowledge of OSHA and Control of Hazardous Energy (LOTO) procedures
- Ability to work in tight spaces, at heights, and climb steps over conveyor systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Compact Logic (RSLogix 5000)
- Experience with Yaskawa, Fanuc, or Kuka robotics
- Knowledge of 3-phase 480-volt power systems and NEC 70E Electrical Safety
- Familiarity with hydraulic pumps, pneumatic circuits, and air compressors
