Automation Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Perform technical analysis, requirements gathering, and gap analysis
• Define functional requirements through client interviews and process mapping
• Support MES solution architectures and develop detailed design specifications
• Manage and report on project scope, schedule, and technical deliverables
• Collaborate with IT personnel and vendors to resolve application and manufacturing process issues
• Define and socialize MES strategy for standard hardware and software systems
• Capture requirements for data management, integration, and storage

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years of IT experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial software services functions
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing or implementing MES applications
• Experience with MES traceability and quality applications
• Proficiency with systems such as Red Viking Argonaut, Ignition, SAP, Oracle, Siemens, or Allen Bradley
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Willingness to travel up to 50% locally and internationally
