Automation & Robotics Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance by diagnosing failures in automated systems, industrial robots, and communication networks.
• Execute preventive maintenance operations on PLCs, robots, and control equipment to ensure production continuity.
• Analyze root causes of malfunctions to prevent recurrence and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage program backups and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in the integration and reception of new industrial equipment.
• Record all interventions accurately within the CMMS (GMAO).
• Support production teams during equipment restarts and optimize robot trajectories and cycles.

Requirements

• Bac+2 / Bac+3 degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Robotics, or related technical fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in highly automated industrial environments, ideally within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, Unity Pro) and/or Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial networks such as Profinet, Profibus, and Ethernet IP.
• Programming experience with major industrial robots including FANUC, ABB, or KUKA.
• Solid technical foundation in electrotechnics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial vision systems.
• Strict adherence to safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts (21:00 - 05:00).
