About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and reliable operation of production facilities by developing cost-effective electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvement activities
  • Lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for major failures to prevent re-occurrence
  • Assist in the engineering, design, and technical support of electrical, automation, networking, and Cybersecurity equipment
  • Manage the execution and commissioning of capital projects related to reliability improvements
  • Monitor and optimize Predictive and Preventive Maintenance programs
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement of plant reliability
  • Track and report on KPIs, metrics, and key reliability initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Networking Engineering
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, maintenance, or reliability engineering
  • Proven experience with low/medium/high voltage switchgear, transformers, motors, and distribution systems
  • Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, and networking equipment (e.g., Rockwell, Modicon)
  • Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies including RCA, FMEA, and statistical downtime analysis
  • Experience using CMMS and SAP systems
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and techniques
  • Experience with Cybersecurity and Process Control Networks
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish
