Automation QA (Senior/Lead)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using ReadyAPI (SOAPUI Pro) and Postman for API testing
• Utilize JMeter/Tsung for performance testing and ensure system scalability
• Write and execute tests using TestNG and other relevant testing frameworks
• Design and implement automation frameworks and develop reusable libraries
• Leverage Groovy, Shell Script, and Python to create effective automation scripts
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Git
• Report and track bugs through the development lifecycle
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with developers to resolve them
• Continuously improve testing strategies and automation processes
• Ensure proper version control and documentation for all automation scripts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation, focusing on API and performance testing
• Expertise in using ReadyAPI (SOAPUI Pro) and Postman for API automation
• Strong experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Tsung
• Hands-on experience with TestNG or similar testing frameworks
• Proficiency in Groovy, Shell Scripting, and Python for test automation
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
