Automation QA (BDD Framework) - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using a BDD approach with Cucumber
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and TestNG
• Translate functional requirements and user stories into BDD scenarios using Gherkin format
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure complete test coverage
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Execute regression, integration, and system-level automated test suites
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities across releases
• Ensure adherence to SDLC/Agile processes and quality standards

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong programming knowledge in Java
• Hands-on experience with BDD Frameworks (Cucumber), TestNG, and Selenium WebDriver
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC methodologies
• Experience with test scenario design, execution, and defect tracking
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Xray
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Financial Services domain
• Exposure to API automation using Rest Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts
• Experience with test data management and environment handling
