About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage automation projects from initiation through final production, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity increase
  • Coordinate automation department resources, including engineers and technicians, to ensure project goals are met
  • Lead software development and integration projects to optimize processes and adopt emerging digital technologies
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, including analyzing proposals, managing legal contracts, and overseeing purchase orders
  • Participate in the validation of new production lines and technologies
  • Execute continuous improvement projects and support the startup of remote manufacturing plants
  • Ensure all quality-related activities and documentation comply with ISO 13485 standards
  • Provide structured project visibility, risk management, and status reporting to management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in an automation or similar engineering role
  • Proven experience in medical device manufacturing operations
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 standards
  • Advanced English fluency
  • Strong leadership and agile project management skills (Scrum/Kanban)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt), or Scrum
  • Experience with technologies such as .NET, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and data acquisition
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning applied to industrial processes
  • Experience in World-Class Manufacturing environments
