Automation Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate planning and implementation of product or tool designs
• Review and approve assembly tooling vendors’ proposed designs and processes
• Monitor vendor progress to ensure adherence to schedules and timelines
• Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment, including cost estimates
• Assist in the creation, modification, and testing of products and processes
• Assist in the development, evaluation, and documentation of manufacturing processes
• Create technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and product issues in manufacturing

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or related experience
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
• Experience in Plastics and Lighting Assembly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, and Statistical Process
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and TS 16949
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices like micrometers and calipers
• Strong project management and troubleshooting skills
