Automation & Manual Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or other frameworks
• Perform manual testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance of applications
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data
• Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience
• Identify areas for test automation to improve testing efficiency
• Execute regression testing, performance testing, and report bugs in defect tracking tools
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide insights and updates on testing progress

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in testing
• Strong knowledge of Automation Testing tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience in writing and executing Manual Test cases
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA or TestRail
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
• Exposure to API Testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
