Automation Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and robotic equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Plan, layout, and install electrical and pneumatic systems for new equipment and fixtures
• Assist with packaging line setup, tear down, and automated pack station changeovers
• Communicate and work cooperatively with fellow technicians and line associates
• Maintain daily housekeeping and 5S activities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of job-related maintenance experience
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and pneumatic prints
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc LRMate 200iD or similar Fanuc robotics systems
• Strong PLC knowledge (experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/500 and Studio 5000 is a plus)
• Physical ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform duties within confined spaces (as small as 2 ft x 2 ft)
• Must follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out and proper PPE usage

Preferred Qualifications

• Lift Truck Certification
• Experience leading the training of others
• Working knowledge of the current National Electric Code (NEC)
