Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and Python for web, API, and backend systems
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Automate testing, deployments, and monitoring for scalable, reliable applications
• Implement cloud-native automation including containers, serverless functions, and infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions
• Develop and integrate automated test suites for web, mobile, and backend services
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to promote best practices in automation and DevOps
• Integrate test reporting and monitoring tools like Grafana or Allure to make results actionable

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on automation
• Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API) and Python scripting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and test automation frameworks
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and unit testing
• Experience with SQL and database validation
• Experience with message brokers and testing MQTT protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Knowledge of security best practices in automation pipelines
• Background in leading automation initiatives or small teams
