Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and maintain machines on production lines
• Participate in the commissioning of new equipment
• Continuously improve and ensure process quality
• Analyze and adopt measures to reduce costs
• Propose technical solutions to optimize manufacturing technology and equipment performance
• Participate in drafting specifications for new machinery acquisitions
• Monitor and ensure timely implementation of coordinated projects
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize the production process
• Provide technical support regarding the definition of corrective actions

Requirements

• English language proficiency
• Experience in operating assembly and mounting process machines
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electric motors and servomotors including their control
• Experience with digital and analog measurement and control equipment
• Knowledge of sensor types, operation, and adjustment
• Knowledge of AC/DC auxiliary power supplies and inverters

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of STEP7, WIN CC, SINAMICS, or SINUMERIK
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of TPM principles
